Abstract:

TWhen working things out with other humans, you can improve relationships and increase efficiency by using active listening techniques. As an interrogator with the U.S. Army, my job was to be one of the most perceptive and energetic listeners on the planet. Since entering the world of startups, I have used these listening skills to help build great cultures and delightful software products. In this brief talk, I will share some specific techniques to make you a more efficient and empathetic coworker!
